Asher is doing very well, recently returning from a trip to Michigan to see Grandpa Ev and Grandma Barb with Anne. It was a long and very quiet work week for me, and so good to see them come home. You can see the added cheek chub in the latest photos. He is starting to use his Bumbo chair, is talking to us and to himself constantly (wish we knew what he is saying!), and is experiencing everything around him by taste. He loves to eat his hands (just like his cousin Eli), and he is so very curious about everything around him.

Wow, where does the time go. We have enjoyed a lovely autumn in Maine, and are looking forward to the looming winter- they say it'll be an extra cold one. We've got most of the windows sealed up, and a space heater in the nursery, which keeps Asher's room nice and cosy. We were pretty worried about him being cold for the winter, and he likes to sleep with his arms out and certainly with no hats!

Anne,
You are looking great ... you actually look refreshed, rested and bright. There's no sign that little Asher may require is food any time, day or night! Way to fool us :)
Love, Mom C.
What a joy to have little ole' baldy Asher around for a short week, and you too Anne.... and thanks to you Nathan for parting with your 'life' for a short while (whether it seemed short or not). Asher was an absolute delight. He loved being held and we did just that. You are certainly easy folks to have visit. And yes, both of you look terrific! ... even when you don't hold little one. Can't wait to see you Christmas.
Love, Grandma and Grandpa Albers
